Through travel and tourism, we have the power to do great things.
The Safari Escapes Foundation was born out of our passion for sustainability and supporting the local community. Our foundation's mission is to promote sustainability and creativity within the Tuala community, focusing on Oloosirkon School and St Johns school in Kibera Slum.
These schools reflect the struggles faced by many others in Kajiado County: a semi-arid region that faces food insecurity, high poverty levels, and a lack of environmental awareness. Through the Safari Escapes Foundation, we aim to improve these conditions, fostering sustainable practices and better opportunities for the students and their community.

St. John's School is located in the heart of the Kibera slum, one of the largest informal settlements in Africa. We are constantly striving to improve both the infrastructure and the level of education at the school. Our efforts include building new and upgraded classrooms, providing essential learning resources, paying teachers' salaries, and offering scholarships for higher education.
We live in one of the most naturally biodiverse ecosystems in the world. With hundreds of species of mammals and over 450 bird species in our area alone, trees play a vital role in our ecosystem. By pledging to plant "1 tree per guest" at our partner schools, we help offset travel carbon emissions while teaching youth the importance of environmental conservation.

With hundreds of species of mammals and over 450 bird species in our area alone, trees play a vital role in bringing together this ecosystem. By pledging to plant '1 tree per guest' at our partner schools, not only do we aim to sequester the carbon produced by your travels, but we also hope to teach the youth about the importance of protecting our precious environment.
We invite you to visit Oloosirkon School and plant a tree in the school's Shamba (farm) during your stay.
